How will my bone healing system or spine fusion stimulator be applied?
The device you will be given is portable and easy to operate, allowing you to treat your fracture nonunion or fusion while going about your daily routine. You can use the PEMF system over a cast, directly on your skin or with a brace. Some patients find it convenient to treat while relaxing and watching TV, while others prefer to treat while sleeping.
All noninvasive stimulators use an external power source, in conjunction with rechargeable or replaceable batteries. Patient compliance during treatment is important. Every effort should be made to try to comply with the treatment time and schedule prescribed by your doctor.
