OrthoPak® 2 Bone Growth Stimulator System
By selecting the OrthoPak® 2 Bone Growth Stimulator System, you and your doctor will take advantage of an adjunctive treatment to aid in the healing of your fracture nonunion. The OrthoPak® 2 Bone Growth Stimulator System delivers a low intensity electrical signal that is intended to help your fracture nonunion to heal. The signal operates at a high frequency; therefore, you should not feel the signal during your treatment. Two lightweight electrodes are placed over your fracture nonunion site, inches apart from one another. These electrodes are easy to apply and adhere to the skin. The OrthoPak® 2 Bone Growth Stimulator is the lightest (less than one ounce at the fracture site), smallest, most compact noninvasive bone growth stimulation device on the market.
Easy To Operate
The OrthoPak® 2 device is portable and easy to operate, allowing you to treat your fracture while going about your daily routine. You can use the system with a cast, under a brace, or in the presence of internal fixation or external fixation. The OrthoPak® 2 System's capacitive coupling technology is the only noninvasive technology that offers 24-hour daily treatment. It is very important that you treat with the OrthoPak® 2 System for the recommended 24-hours per day. The OrthoPak® 2 System can only be obtained with a doctor's prescription and is single patient use only. Upon receiving a prescription for the OrthoPak® 2 System from your doctor, you will receive a Patient Manual and Package Insert.
