Knee Replacement
Maxim® Complete Knee System
Your anatomy is unique, and the Maxim® Complete Knee System was designed to meet your special needs and anatomy. You may require differently sized components for your thighbone and your shinbone. The Maxim® knee allows your surgeon to select the correct size of each component to better match your anatomy.
The polyethylene component that replaces the damaged cartilage at the top of your shinbone must absorb the stress from your everyday activities. To help increase the longevity of your implant, the polyethylene components are direct compression molded. Direct compression molding has been shown to produce more durable components.1 Since 1992, the Maxim® knee has been helping people, like you, continue to lead active, productive lifestyles. You can be sure that your surgeon is using proven technology and a time-tested design.1 The Maxim® total knee replacement is one option available to you and your surgeon. Only your orthopedic surgeon can determine if you are a candidate for this system or if another type of implant would better suit your unique situation.
