Design and Manufacture of a Patient-matched Implant

The union of technology and personal attention allows the PMIĀ® engineering team to design some of the most advanced primary hip stems available. The PMIĀ® patented design process begins with 3-D reconstruction of a patient's CT scan. A unique design is then created based upon each patient's bone geometry and surgeon-specific design criteria. The final hip stem is then machined from titanium bar stock into a custom implant, not a modified standard line device, and is supplied with a matching custom broach.
