Biomet’s dedication to patient-matched implants has allowed the PMI® department to create customized solutions that span across all areas of patient anatomy. Through the use of 3-D anatomy reconstruction, PMI® engineers are able to create industry-leading custom designs from scratch, rather than relying on modification of existing product lines. For those patient-matched implants that are not FDA approved/cleared for marketing, a detailed description of the device is required from the surgeon.
